RACHEL VELASQUEZ is an award winning director who's driving change through compassion, equity, leadership, and storytelling. With over 15 years of experience in creative, video, and digital direction, Rachel has built and managed teams for The White House, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, NYC's Mayor's Office, and The Democratic National Committee. Her work stretches across several spaces including narrative, documentary, advocacy, electoral, brand, health, and education.
Currently, Rachel is partnered with American Clean Power, where they are rebranding the future of clean energy. She is also developing her first feature film, Period Piece, and looks forward to sharing more information soon.
Fundamentally, Rachel believes that creating real change begins with storytelling. She has dedicated her career to defending social justice causes.
